Quick Tip: Play Mixologist With Your Shampoos And Conditioners

Many of us have more than one type of shampoo and conditioner, but not many of us know that we can actually use more than one at a time. The needs of our hair can be complex at times; we may have issues with elasticity, lack of moisture, and overly porous strands. Because of this, we often need more than what our trusty staple shampoo or conditioner delivers. 

Depending on the needs of my hair, I may mix several different drops of conditioner and shampoo. Using several shampoos and conditioners at once can correct compound issues with your hair, and can also help you use some of those not-so-stellar products you have been holding on to in your cabinet. Always assess your hair prior to shampooing. "Prescribe" your formula for the day, then use a dollop of each product you need, and shampoo or condition as normal.
