Product Review: Bee Hold Curly Hair Butter

I went pudding and butter happy a few weeks ago for a few reasons; (1) I wanted to test the market a bit because I was becoming frustrated with my curls [or lack thereof], and (2) I wanted to do some product review's for all of you. If any of you are like me, when you hear the word pudding, custard, curling cream, or butter, your hands start to itch as you fight the urge to pull out that credit card and place an order. Some of them are lackluster, and some of them have rightfully earned their keep in the staple department.

Ingredients: 100% Shea Butter, 100% Aloe Vera Gel, Essential Oil Blend, Vegetable Glycerin, Rosemary Leaf and Chammomile Extract, Silk Powder and Perfume

I ordered Bee Mine [Bee Hold Curly Hair Butter] and received the product approximately 6 days later, which isn't bad. I used Bee Mine Curly Butter for a twist out, and I was satisfied with the results. I use the word satisfied because this product didn't blow me away. Yes, there was slight definition there; however I had a bit more shrinkage than normal, and my hair didn't feel AS soft, and AS big as it normally is. Actually; as the days passed by, I found myself having to reach for a very thick moisturizer because my hair started to feel a little drier than usual.

Would I buy this product again; I am a little on the fence about it. I want to try it out a few more times before I rule it out. I think I may try it on a braid out instead. I definitely like that the ingredients are natural [a big plus], and I love how fast it got to my doorstep. However the biggest issue for me was the shrinkage, and the "dry" feeling my hair had 3-4 days later.

I should also point out that my hair is not really a fan of Shea Butter, which might be one of the reasons it didn't agree with my hair. If your hair loves Shea Butter, this might be a hit for you.
